Configuration (on Mac)
You will learn how to configure “Audio MIDI setting” on your Mac to be able to receive MIDI signals via Wi-Fi.
- Start “Audio MIDI setting” application. The application locates on /Applications/Utilities/ generally.

- Double click on “Network” button on “MIDI Studio” window.And then opening “MIDI networks setting” window.

- Create new session: “Session 1″ will appear in “Session” after you click the “+” button.

- Check the “enable” checkbox on the left side. Then you can receive MIDI signals via Network.
- Create an item in “Directory”.

Setting dialog will appear after you click the “+” button.

Please write each items below:
- Name
- networkdevice
- Host

Input iPad’s IP address. Please open for more details for the way to set up:
- Open “Setting” dialog on iPad.
- Select “General” – “Network”
- Open “Wi-Fi Network” by tapping “Wi-Fi”, and then you tap button on left side that connecting network.
- Set the value that displayed on “IP adress” to “Host”.
Please wait a moment or tap “refresh DHCP lease” button if the IP address does not appear.
- Port
- enter the port number on iMIDICon.
- Connect iPad and Mac by clicking “Connect” button.

Configuration (on iPad)
- Open setting dialog by tapping “Setting” button.

- Set IP address. Tap button that displayed IP address, and then you select IP address in list.
IP address you need to connect is displayed on “Address” in “Audio MIDI setting” application on Mac.
Usually you should enter the first line.In address, you should enter before “:”. If the application has correct IP address,
you can add new IP address.

- Tap “+” button located on Popup.

- To register new IP address, you enter new IP address, and tap “Add” button.

- If you register other IP adress, please do 1,2. To hide the dialog, please tap other area.
- Tap “+” button located on Popup.
- Enter port number: You enter the number displayed in the first line after “:”.
If you register new port number, please check previous section (IP address).
- Set the MIDI channel.You can choose the number from 1 to 16.

- Connect iPad to Mac by tapping “Re-Connect” button.

Please check below to confirm connection:
- Close setting dialog by tapping “Close” button.
- By tapping any button on main screen, you can test the connection between iPad and Mac.
If the connection is established, latency area shows some line in “Audio MIDI setting” on Mac.
